Advocating for Public Education by Prioritizing Students & Teachers

Trustee Dr. Fatima Alleyne has actively sought the endorsements of individuals who have actively engaged to dismantle systematic racism and advocated for equity and equal access in public education.  All individuals on this list have actively advocated for safe schools, accountability, transparency, and fiscal responsibility from their elected officials. Many of them have spent hours supporting families in this community, attending board meetings, writing letters and serving in leadership positions with a STUDENTS FIRST approach. The elected officials on this list have embodied accountability, transparency, fiscal responsibility, and have selflessly placed STUDENTS FIRST!  They exhibited these attributes as leaders long before the #BlackLivesMatter.
